Police seek other potential victims after alleged North Reading massage assault
Police believe there could be other victims due to the nature of the alleged assault.
A woman reported that a massage therapist assaulted her Monday during a session at Tai Chi Acupuncture & Wellness Center in North Reading. Daniel Feener, 35, of Peabody was arraigned Tuesday in Woburn District Court on charges of rape and indecent assault and battery in connection with the alleged crime, and police are asking anyone else who believes they were assaulted to come forward.

Daniel Feener.
The woman told police she booked an appointment and requested a massage focusing on her shoulders and back, according to a release from the Middlesex District Attorney’s office. Feener allegedly “began touching her inappropriately and proceeded to assault her before also placing her hand on him,” the release said.
Police said they believe there could be other victims due to the nature of the alleged assault.
Feener is an approximately six-foot white male with brown hair. He reportedly goes by Daniel at work and has worked at Tai Chi Acupuncture & Wellness Center for several months. It is not yet known whether he has worked at other massage centers.
Nick Williamson, the business’s owner, said he was aware of the incident but had “zero information at this point,” so he couldn’t comment.
Police are asking anyone who was a client of Feener and believe his services involved “inappropriate or indecent behavior” to contact the North Reading detectives at 978-357-5067, 978-657-tips, or submit an anonymous tip through NRPD.org.
