An 18-year-old was shot in a car in Methuen. He drove himself to the hospital.
The victim was then flown by medical helicopter to Boston for treatment.
An 18-year-old was shot in Methuen late Thursday night, and he then drove himself to the hospital.Police reported the shooting on Huse Road on Twitter at 10:24 p.m.

The victim, a Lawrence resident, was shot in his vehicle and drove himself to Holy Family Hospital, according to 7News; a medical helicopter then flew him to Boston for treatment.
The victim was in “critical but stable condition,” police said, according to WBZ. No one has been arrested, and police believe the shooting wasn’t random.
State police were on scene to help with the investigation, Methuen police said.
