Boston College on high alert after report of man peering through freshman dorm windows
Police advised students to keep doors and windows locked at all times and remember to draw their blinds.
A “suspicious” man was seen peering into the first-floor windows of an all-female, freshman-only dorm at Boston College, according to police.
The man was seen looking through Kostka Hall’s ground-level windows Sunday.
He was described as a an approximately 5-foot-7 white man between 25 and 35 years old. He had a red beard and goatee, police said, and was last seen wearing a red baseball cap, white sweatshirt, baggy black pants, and black sneakers.
The Boston College Police Department has increased its patrols and visibility in the area since the incident, according to a release.
The release advised students to keep doors and windows locked at all times and remember to draw their blinds — especially at nighttime.
Anyone with information on the incident is asked to contact campus police at 617-552-4440.
