Teen arrested in Roxbury non-fatal stabbing
The suspect was found with blood on his shirt, police said.
A Roxbury teen was arrested after he allegedly stabbed a man early Tuesday morning, according to Boston police.The 17-year-old is being charged with assault with intent to murder and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, officials said. He was expected to be arraigned in Roxbury District Court.Authorities were called to the area near 55 Malcom X Boulevard in Roxbury for a report of a stabbing around 1:24 a.m., police said. There, they spoke with a man who told police he had been stabbed by someone he knew. The victim was brought to a nearby hospital with nonlife-threatening injuries.Police searched the area and found the suspect, who had blood on his shirt, around Ruggles Street and arrested him.
