‘Covered in blood’

Waltham teen arrested in double stabbing; two female victims were found early Monday morning.

Two women were repeatedly stabbed in Waltham early Monday morning and a 16-year-old boy was arrested in connection with the incident, according to police.Authorities were called to 18 Wheelock Road around 1:37 a.m., where they found the two women. The victims were taken to nearby hospitals and are expected to live. Both victims are said to be Brandeis University graduate students, according to WHDH. The suspect had fled the scene, officials said.Around 3:24 a.m., police were called to 23 Highland St. where someone “covered in blood” was reportedly attempting to break into a vehicle, according to authorities. Police caught up to this person around 5:13 a.m. and he was arrested.An arraignment for the teen, a Waltham resident, has not been scheduled, police said.
