State police are searching for a vehicle of interest in the Attleboro hit-and-run that left a man dead last week.
Officers are looking for a white Cadillac Escalade sport utility vehicle with a broken headlight and possible front end damage.
The car may be driven by a white female who is 5 foot 4 and about 160 pounds, according to a release.
The crash happened just after 9:30 p.m. Thursday on the southbound side of Interstate 95 in Attleboro. It killed 50-year-old John E. Gauthier, who is believed to have been homeless but had ties to Pawtucket, Rhode Island.
Anyone with information on the crash, Escalade, or possible driver is asked to call Trooper McKelligan of the state police detective unit for Bristol County at 508-993-2016.
