Man stabbed to death near Boston Medical Center
Police are asking the public for help in finding the suspect, who reportedly fled on a bike up Mass. Ave.
Boston police say they’re looking for the suspect in a fatal stabbing Wednesday night in the South End near Boston Medical Center.
According to a press release Thursday morning, local officers responded to reports of a fight at approximately 9:12 p.m. in the area of the Massachusetts Avenue and Albany Street intersection, where they reportedly found a man in his 30s suffering from apparent stab wounds. According to multiple news outlets, the victim was rushed to Boston Medical Center, where police said he later died from his injuries.
Investigators at the scene reportedly said the suspect fled the scene on a bike and headed north on Mass. Ave.
“There are a lot of cameras here and often there are a lot of folks, so anything that we can get to help us facilitate this investigation, we appreciate,” Boston Police Commissioner William Gross told reporters, according to CBS Boston.
