Man arrested following fatal Dorchester shooting; victim’s name released
Brian Joyce, 25, of Dorchester was arrested Wednesday in Manchester, New Hampshire.
Boston police arrested a man Wednesday in connection with a Monday night shooting in Dorchester that left one man dead.
Brian Joyce, 25, of Dorchester was arrested in Manchester, New Hampshire, on a warrant for murder out of Dorchester District Court.
The U.S. Marshals Service and officers form the Boston Police Department’s fugitive unit helped Manchester police with the arrest, according to a release.
Boston police found a man suffering from a gunshot wound just before midnight Monday in the lobby of the Ramada by Wyndham Boston hotel at 800 Morrissey Blvd., an initial release said.
He was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The man has since been identified as 27-year-old Marcus Dunn-Gordon, of Randolph.
