Teen arrested following Friday night stabbing in Stoneham
The 17-year-old is accused of stabbing a 20-year-old.
A 17-year-old Stoneham boy was arrested over the weekend for allegedly stabbing a 20-year-old man.
The man, who was suffering from a stab wound, went to the Stoneham police station just after 9 p.m. Friday. Police treated him on site, and a release said he was later taken to Lahey Clinic with serious injuries.
The stabbing reportedly happened near Capen Street in Stoneham, which is near Pomeworth Field. The 20-year-old told police he knew the boy.
The 17-year-old was charged with armed robbery and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon causing serious bodily injury.
