1 person dead, another injured in Dorchester shooting

Boston police are investigating a Sunday night shooting in Dorchester that left one person dead and another injured. Officers responded to a report of a shooting near 169 Columbia Road around 11:10 p.m., according to Boston police spokesman Stephen McNulty. One of the victims was pronounced dead at the scene and the other was transported to an area hospital with injuries. No arrests have been made and the shooting remains under investigation, according to police.
