A man allegedly flashed a woman jogging along the Charles River. Then, she bolted after him.
The woman attempted to detain the man while calling for help, but he got away.
After a man indecently exposed himself to a woman while they passed each other running along the Charles River in Cambridge last Thursday morning, she attempted to capture him, state police said.While he got away, nearby surveillance video captured the altercation, and police are now searching for the suspect and asking for the public’s help in identifying him.The incident happened around 7:30 a.m. on Memorial Drive near Vassar Street, police said. The video footage released by police shows the woman turning around and sprinting to catch up with the suspect immediately after the alleged incident, as well as her attempts to detain him. She also called out for others to contact police, according to authorities.The suspect is described as a white, heavyset man with short dark hair and a receding hairline. At the time, he was wearing black and gray athletic clothes and black running sneakers with white soles, according to police.
