Man accused of stabbing woman in Belmont crashes in Cambridge following police pursuit
The man allegedly stabbed the woman in a home on Partridge Lane.
A man was arrested Wednesday morning after he allegedly stabbed a woman he knew in a Belmont home, according to a release from the Middlesex County District Attorney’s Office.
The man fled the Partridge Lane home in a car, and Belmont police pursued him through Arlington until he crashed somewhere in Cambridge, authorities said.
Both the woman and man were hospitalized, the woman for stab wounds and the man for injuries from the crash.
This investigation is ongoing, according to the district attorney’s office.
