Walpole man wanted in multiple bank robberies found inside casino and arrested

A Walpole man wanted in multiple armed bank heists was arrested after Massachusetts and Rhode Island police captured him while he was gambling in Plainridge Park Casino on Wednesday, according to authorities. Joseph Hickson, 31, was taken into custody around 2:45 p.m. in the Plainville, Massachusetts, slots parlor. He was booked as a fugitive from justice.East Providence police had notified the Massachusetts State Police’s Gaming Enforcement Unit that Hickson was inside the casino; his Hyundai was found outside the business and towed.Hickson was scheduled for arraignment on Thursday in Wrentham District Court, authorities said.
