Police: Woman robbed at gunpoint in parking lot of Cambridge grocery store
The woman was not injured, according to Cambridge police.
Cambridge police are investigating after a woman reported that she was robbed Tuesday night at gunpoint in the parking lot of a Star Market. Officers responded to the report around 9:17 p.m. The woman told police she was in the parking lot of the Star Market at 699 Mount Auburn St. when the robbery by two males took place. An undisclosed amount of cash was taken from her, according to police. “The suspects fled in an unknown direction,” police said. Cambridge Police Deputy Superintendent Jack Albert told Boston.com on Wednesday that detectives are “actively” working with the victim and looking at surveillance footage as part of the ongoing investigation. He said the woman was not injured in the incident.
