Police release video of robbery of 76-year-old woman outside Dartmouth bank
The woman was pushed to the ground during the incident, police said.
Dartmouth police are looking to identify a male suspect who they say forcefully robbed a 76-year-old woman in a Citizens Bank parking lot on Monday morning.Police say that shortly before 10 a.m., the man pushed the woman to the ground as she left the bank at 606 Dartmouth St. He then stole her pocketbook and fled in a silver Toyota Corolla. Police have released surveillance footage of the incident:
Police described the suspect in a release as “a white male, approximately 5’10” with a stocky build, wearing a stocking cap, dark glasses, and a dark jacket.”
The woman sustained minor injuries and was evaluated at the scene by emergency personnel, according to police.
