Burglar threatens child during Haverhill break-in, police say

Haverhill police are searching for an alleged burglar who they say threatened a young child early Sunday morning.

A masked man wearing a hood opened the first-floor window of a White Street home around 5 a.m., where he found a child below the window in bed, authorities said Monday in a statement.

According to 7News, the girl said the man threatened her life.

Police said no charges have been filed and the investigation is ongoing.
