2 men pretended to be heating company employees in armed home invasion, Rockland police say
Police say the suspects made off with jewelry and money before fleeing in a black SUV.
Rockland police are searching for two suspects accused of an armed home invasion that happened around 10 a.m. Wednesday near West Water and Central streets.The two men posed as employees of a heating company, police said. When a resident opened the door, the men allegedly forced themselves into the apartment and pulled out handguns.The suspects reportedly made off with money and jewelry. They fled in a small black SUV, police said.The department released a composite drawing and description of one of the suspects.
