Lynn woman indicted on charges of sex trafficking a minor

The minor lived at a group home where the woman worked, according to authorities.

A Lynn woman allegedly online advertised sexual services of a minor she met while working at a Saugus group home, and is now facing multiple related charges, authorities said.Ashley Goodrich, 27, was indicted on four counts each of trafficking a minor for sexual servitude and contributing to the delinquency of a minor, and one count of deriving support from prostitution of a minor, according to a news release from Attorney General Maura Healey’s office. Goodrich is slated for arraignment in Suffolk and Worcester counties at a date to be determined, authorities said. The Suffolk County District Attorney’s office originally turned the matter over to Healey’s office, which began an investigation in May, the release said.Goodrich has since been terminated from Eliot Community Human Services, but it’s alleged that while working there, she “targeted and recruited” the minor, who lived at the group home at the time.“Authorities allege Goodrich drove the minor to these sexual encounters in Boston and Worcester and coordinated them during times when the minor had run away from the home,” the release says.Minors would go live at the home after referral from the state Department of Children and Families, according to the release. It has since been closed and the residents moved elsewhere.Healey’s Victim Services Division is working with the victim, the release said.
