18-year-old fatally shot in Roxbury

An 18-year-old man was fatally shot in Roxbury Wednesday evening, according to the Boston Police Department.Police responded to a call for a person shot around 7:12 p.m. in the area of 39 Hollander St., where they found the victim — whose identity has not been released — suffering from life-threatening injuries.The victim was transported to a local hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries, police said.Police are investigating the incident.
