Palmer man pleads guilty to child pornography charge
A Palmer man pleaded guilty Monday to a child pornography charge, the U.S. Attorney’s office said in a statement.Charles Benoit, 65, was charged with one count of conspiring to possess child pornography, according to the statement.Authorities said Benoit used Limewire, an online peer-to-peer file sharing system, to search for and download child pornography from 2009 to 2010. Benoit is scheduled to return to court on February 14, 2017, for sentencing.
