Man fatally shot in Dorchester identified
A man who was fatally shot in Dorchester Saturday has been identified by Boston police.Danley Leonard, 28, of Kingston, was pronounced dead after being transported to a local hospital, police said in a statement Monday.Around 4:46 p.m. Saturday, officers responded to the area of 51 Ames St. for a report of a person shot.Police said they found Leonard and another man in his late 20s at the scene, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.The other victim, who has not been identified, was also taken to a local hospital with nonlife-threatening injuries, according to the statement.The incident remains under investigation and anyone with information is asked to call police at 617-343-4470.
