DA: Man, 25, murdered his father in the home they shared
A 25-year-old man murdered his father early Tuesday morning in the Dedham home they shared, according to Norfolk District Attorney Michael W. Morrissey.
Police were called to the home at about 2 a.m. and discovered Paul Anderson, 59, with “multiple traumatic injuries,” the DA said in a statement. The man was taken to Norwood Hospital, where he died.
Alex Anderson, 25, was arrested and charged with the murder of his father, the DA’s office said.
The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner is conducting an autopsy on the body.
Anderson will be arraigned in Dedham District Court on Tuesday.
The incident is under investigation.
