Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying two alleged car thieves, Cambridge police said in a statement.

Two men were allegedly involved in multiple car thefts and car breaks. On September 18, they were captured on camera smashing a car window and stealing a suitcase from inside the vehicle on Windsor Street in Cambridge, according to police.

They were seen driving a vehicle that was reported stolen from Somerville on September 15, police said. The vehicle was later recovered on September 20 in Boston.

On September 19, the same men were also caught on camera at 506 Beacon St. in Boston abandoning a vehicle that had been reported stolen the previous day from the MIT parking lot at 158 Massachusetts Ave. in Cambridge, according to police. The suspects were pictured wearing the same clothes on both days.
