Roxbury man arrested in attempted sexual assault

The surveillance image of the suspect released Wednesday.
A Roxbury man was arrested Thursday in connection with an attempted sexual assault that took place Saturday on Mission Hill in Roxbury, Boston police said in a statement.
Jose Cepeda, 32, was identified and arrested after surveillance images were released Wednesday, according to police. He will face charges of assault with intent to rob and indecent assault and battery.
Around 1:38 p.m. Saturday, officers responded to the area of the Kevin Fitzgerald Park on Saint Alphonsus Street for a report of an attempted sexual assault.
A woman told officers a man approached her from behind, pushed her to the ground, and tried to sexually assault her, police said. The man then allegedly fled the scene and was later seen riding a mountain bike toward Huntington Avenue.
Cepeda was expected to appear in Roxbury District Court, according to police.
