Police seeking suspect in Belmont, New Hampshire, shooting

State police are looking for a suspect wanted in connection with a shooting that occurred Tuesday in Belmont, New Hampshire.

Around 1 p.m., a 33-year-old woman was shot at a residence at 24 Arlene Drive, New Hampshire State Police said in a statement. The shooter fled the scene in a vehicle, which was later recovered abandoned, according to police. The woman remains in critical condition at a hospital.
According to a New Hampshire Trooper’s Association Facebook post, Jason M. Cuocolo, 42, was identified as a suspect in the shooting. His last known addresses where in Meredith, New Hampshire, and Rockland, Massachusetts.
Cuocolo is wanted for first degree assault, armed robbery with a firearm, and criminal threatening with a firearm, and is considered armed and dangerous, police said.
