Man arrested, large amounts of drugs recovered in Lawrence

A man was arrested and large amounts of drugs were recovered Thursday as part of an ongoing drug investigation in Lawrence, Boston police said in a statement Monday.
Police executed multiple simultaneous search warrants in the area of 2 Museum Square on Thursday and recovered 176 grams of heroin, 136 grams of cocaine, and $460 in cash, according to police.
The target of the active drug investigation, David Fret, 57, of Lawrence, was arrested. Police said they believe Fret is responsible for the supply and distribution of illegal drugs throughout West Roxbury, Roslindale, and the Greater Boston area.
Fret was charged with trafficking Class A and B drugs and was arraigned in West Roxbury District Court.
