Police: South Boston drug bust nets 3 arrests

The items recovered during the drug bust in South Boston.
Three men were arrested and two guns recovered during a drug bust in South Boston Thursday, Boston police said in a statement.
Around 5 a.m., officers went to the area of 419 Old Colony Ave. to execute a search warrant. Police said they found and recovered two guns, more than $1,300 in cash, 24 plastic bags of heroin, and 35 plastic bags of crack cocaine.
Remus Roberson, 25, Uhnari Bufford, 22, and Michael Lamontagne, 63, all of Boston, were arrested at the location, according to police.
Roberson and Bufford were charged with unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of ammunition, unlawful possession of a high capacity feeding device, possession of a firearm with an obliterated serial number, and possession with intent to distribute Class A and B drugs, police said. Lamontagne was charged with conspiracy to violate drug laws.
