1 dead, 2 injured in Dorchester shooting

One man is dead and another two are injured after being shot in Dorchester early Saturday morning, police said.

All three men are in their early 20s, Boston Police Department spokesman James Kenneally said. The shooting took place at around 2:18 a.m. near the corner of Wales and Nightingale streets.

One of the men was pronounced dead at the scene, and the other two were taken to the hospital with injuries that were not considered life threatening, Kenneally said.

The investigation is active, and no arrests have been reported.
