Man entered Tufts student’s bedroom overnight, police say
Tufts University police are looking for a man who entered a student’s room while they were sleeping early Saturday morning.
The student alerted police to the man when they woke up to find him standing in the bedroom at 5:40 a.m., according to a statement from Tufts police.
He ran out the front door of the house onto College Avenue in Somerville and fled in a dark-colored four-door sedan, witnesses told police. Officers searched the area but didn’t find the man.
He was described as being white or Hispanic, college-aged, and wearing a beige shirt, baseball hat, and gym shorts, police said. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Tufts police at 617-627-6911.
