2 arrested after 15-year-old stabbed to death in New Bedford
Two people were arrested overnight for a triple stabbing in New Bedford in which 15-year-old Mateo Morales was stabbed to death, Bristol County District Attorney Thomas M. Quinn said in a statement.
Luis Rafael Class, 21, of New Bedford, was charged with accessory to murder after the fact and assault and battery. He is set to be arraigned in New Bedford District Court today, according to Quinn. In addition, a 16-year-old male was charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
The charges stem from a triple stabbing in New Bedford on Wednesday evening, officials said. Morales, of New Bedford, died in the incident. Two other victims, a 16-year-old male and a 22-year-old male, suffered non-life threatening injuries.
