18-year-old woman and dog shot in Dorchester
A woman and dog were shot early Thursday morning in Dorchester, according to Boston police.Around 1 a.m., an 18-year-old woman and a dog were shot just outside of a home at 53 McLellan St., Boston police spokesman David Estrada said.Police said the woman was taken to Boston Medical Center for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. She was still in the hospital Thursday evening, Estrada said.The dog suffered a gunshot wound to the leg and was transported to Angell Animal Medical Center, where officers paid the admitting fee, according to police.No suspects have been apprehended.
