Police searching for Bedford bank robbery suspect
Police are searching for a man who they say robbed a Bedford bank Monday night who may be responsible for an earlier bank robbery in New Hampshire.
The robbery occurred around 6:40 p.m. at the Citizens Bank inside a Stop and Shop on Great Road, police said. There, the man allegedly passed a note to the teller demanding money.
The man fled the store with an undetermined amount of cash, according to police. No one was injured during the robbery.
Police describe the suspect as a white, bald man with tattoos on his left arm. He was wearing a Patriots jersey with Rob Gronkowski’s No. 87, and a wedding ring, police said.
The description of the man is similar to that of a suspect who robbed a Salem, New Hampshire, bank last Thursday, according to police.
Police ask that anyone with information about the suspect or incident call them at 781-275-1212.
