Police: Rifle, ammunition, cocaine found in East Boston
Boston police arrested two men in connection with drug and gun charges, authorities say.
Officers used a search warrant to investigate the area of 95 Chelsea Street in East Boston on Friday. Police say they found a high capacity rifle, 12 rounds of ammunition, and several bags of cocaine that were packaged for sale.
Oscar Hernandez, 33, was charged with distribution of Class B drugs and Donald Archer, 51, was charged with unlawful possession of a firearm and unlawful possession of ammunition. Both men are from East Boston.
