Police looking to ID man in Tom Brady jersey who stole autographed helmet from Patriot Place restaurant

A man wearing a Tom Brady jersey was caught on surveillance video stealing an autographed helmet from a Patriot Place restaurant in Foxborough on August 11, Foxborough police said in a statement.Police said the man stole a 2014 team autographed Patriots helmet from Skipjack’s Restaurant. He also allegedly left without paying for his tab.The surveillance video, posted by Foxborough police on Facebook, shows the suspect sitting at the empty bar. He then climbs over the bar to get the helmet, takes his jersey off, and wraps it around the stolen property. He walks out moments later with the bundle in his hand.

Police believe the suspect is from the Wilmington area and are asking the public to help in identifying him. Anyone with information can contact Detective Timothy O’Leary at 508-543-1212.
