Park ranger charged with trying to record women in bathroom

A park ranger with the Department of Conservation and Recreation has been arrested after State Police say he secretly set up a pen camera to videotape women in a unisex employee bathroom in the Houghton’s Pond bathhouse in Milton.

Raymond McKinnon, 30, of Hyde Park, faces charges of secretly electronically videotaping, photographing, or surveilling persons in a state of partial nudity, as well as possession of and placing a device to violate wiretap laws, according to State Police.

The investigation began after another DCR employee using the staff bathroom noticed the pen and its blinking green light hidden among stacks of milk crates, State Police said. Troopers reviewed images on the pen and found probable cause that McKinnon had placed it in the bathroom, according to police.
