Police release disturbing 911 audio of Framingham family stabbing

Gust Ramgren was charged with attempted murder. Sarasota County Sheriff's Office

Melissa Ramgren had allegedly just seen her 16-year-old son stab her and her 14-year-old son when she called emergency responders to describe a frantic, bloody scene.

“Oh my God, please help me!” the mother says. “My son got stabbed by my other son!”

The 911 calls, released by the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office, reveal the immediate aftermath of the Florida vacation-turned-violent episode. According to police, Ramgren called authorities at about 9 p.m. on Wednesday, saying her son had become violent and then fled on foot.

“He stabbed my son and he came and he stabbed me, and he never stopped. He just kept stabbing me,” Melissa Ramgren said in the calls.

Gust Ramgren, a junior at Newton South High School, was located nearby and charged with attempted murder after confessing to the stabbings, police said. The victims were taken to nearby hospitals and were listed in critical condition as of Thursday.

Police also released audio of a 911 call from a local resident who encountered a 16-year-old matching Gust Ramgren’s description. In the call, the resident says that the 16-year-old was uninjured and was speaking to himself.

“He [says he] doesn’t know how long he can hold on–or, hold them back,” the resident says. “He says that he sees their lights, and he said just send them out.”
