Woman arrested after allegedly attacking commuter rail conductor
A Sharon woman was arrested Monday evening at the MBTA’s Readville Commuter Station after she allegedly attacked a train conductor, authorities said.

Transit police said officers responded to the station around 10 p.m. where the train conductor told them the woman, 23-year-old Emma Bloom, refused to pay the train fare. According to police, when the conductor told Bloom she’d have to get off the train if she didn’t pay, she began kicking, punching, and biting him. She also allegedly took out a folding knife and threatened to stab the conductor, according to police.
Bloom has been charged with assault and battery, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (a shod foot). She is expected to be arraigned Tuesday in West Roxbury District Court.
