Man who allegedly crashed car, ran away from police in custody

Police apprehended a man they say tried to drive away from police, crashed his car, and then ran into the woods.
The suspect, Brian Lafrennie, was arrested Tuesday afternoon, according to police.
Lafrennie, officials said, was involved in a police chase before he crashed his car on Route 2. He then “took off on foot” near the Gardner-Westminster line, police said.
