$1.5 million worth of cocaine, $65,000 in cash seized from abandoned Quincy apartment
Police seized more than 30 kilos of cocaine and $65,000 in cash from an abandoned Quincy apartment Thursday, according to the Norfolk District Attorney’s office.
Detectives found 37 kilos of cocaine worth around $1.5 million in the Hancock Street apartment, authorities said. The unit, which was unoccupied, also contained a shoe box holding the cash, according to the DA’s office.
No arrests have been made in connection to the drugs, authorities said. Massachusetts State Police and Quincy police are continuing to investigate the incident.
