Four teenagers were arrested Monday in Dorchester after officers recovered replica firearms inside their vehicle, Boston police said.

Kelvin Tejada, 19, Patrick Colbreath, 18, a 17-year-old boy, and a 17-year-old girl were charged with disturbing the peace.

Officers responded to a report of several males in a silver Volvo firing shots out of the vehicle at around 10 a.m. in the area of Westville and Draper streets, according to police.

Moments later, members of the department’s Youth Violence Strike Force noticed a gray Volvo with four occupants at 170 Hancock St. and stopped the vehicle, police said.

According to police, officers approached the car and saw one of the passengers kick a firearm under the front seat, as well as two other occupants with rifle-styled firearms across their laps.

As officers drew their service weapons, the occupants yelled that the guns were fake, police said. Officers removed the four teenagers from the vehicle and retrieved two black replica pellet assault rifles and two black replica pellet handguns from inside the car, according to police.
