Police: Woman cut boyfriend with razor, fell asleep in car
A woman cut her boyfriend with a razor blade before going to sleep in the back seat of a car, according to police.
Police say a 31 year-old man was walking with his 29-year-old girlfriend in Worcester at 6 a.m. on Thursday when they began to argue. The woman, who was “extremely intoxicated,” struck her boyfriend with a closed fist and pulled out a razor blade and began swinging it at him “in an aggressive manner,” police said.
The man reportedly tried to take the razor blade away from his girlfriend and, in doing so, received a cut on his forearm. He told police that his girlfriend accompanied him to the hospital and was waiting for him in the car in the hospital parking lot. When officers checked the lot, they found the woman sleeping in the back seat and arrested her.
She has been charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and domestic assault and battery.
Because of the domestic nature of the incident, police did not release the names of the victim and suspect.
