Man arrested after fatal shooting at Dracut party
A man has been arrested in connection with a fatal shooting at a party in Dracut over the weekend.
Davanni Curran, 22, of Lowell has been charged with murder, unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of a loaded firearm, and unlawful possession of ammunition, according to Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan’s office.
Police say Curran fatally shot a 31-year-old man in the chest outside a residence during a party early Sunday morning. The victim was taken to Lowell General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Police have not yet released the victim’s name.
In May, a man was fatally shot during a party at a million-dollar mansion in Lynnfield.
