Man charged with shooting 2 officers held without bail
Officials say the man accused of shooting two New Hampshire police officers will be held without bail on two counts of attempted capital murder.

Ian MacPherson, 32.
Ian MacPherson, 32, of Manchester, N.H., waived his arraignment and did not appear in court on Monday.
MacPherson allegedly shot two New Hampshire police officers on May 13. Police say he shot officers Ryan Hardy, 27, and Matthew O’Connor, 28. O’Connor was treated for a gunshot wound to the leg and released later that day. Hardy, who was shot in the face and torso, was released from a Boston hospital the following day.
Hardy stopped MacPherson at 2 a.m. because he matched the description of an armed robbery suspect from the day before, according to Manchester police. Police said MacPherson immediately began shooting at Hardy. A short time later, MacPherson came upon O’Connor and shot him in the leg, police said. MacPherson then allegedly fled into the woods, triggering a three-hour long manhunt before he was captured.
MacPherson will be back in court on May 27. An attorney for MacPherson was not immediately available.
