Police are investigating shots fired after Central Square bars close
No injuries were reported.
Cambridge police are investigating a series of gunshots that occurred early Sunday morning in a Central Square parking lot just as bars were closing.
Around 2:14 a.m., police responded to Bishop Allen Drive to find that two vehicles parked in Lot 6 had been struck by gunfire. No injuries or victims were reported.
Police said they searched the area and recovered two firearms and 13 shell casings. After speaking to witnesses at the scene, police said they determined that the shooting was not random.
