Olivia Rodrigo has officially labeled COVID-19 vaccines “good 4 u.”
On July 14, popstar Olivia Rodrigo visited the White House to encourage young Americans to get vaccinated. She stopped by the press briefing room, and reportedly filmed a promotional video with President Joe Biden and Dr. Anthony Fauci
“First, I want to say I am beyond honored and humbled to be here today to help spread the message about the importance of youth vaccination,” she said. “I’m in awe of the work President Biden and Dr. Fauci have done and was happy to help lend my support to this important initiative.”

Though Rodrigo found fame on Disney’s “High School Musical: The Musical: The Series,” she’s been holding her own as a songwriter and artist. Her debut album, “Sour,” is number one on the Billboard charts.
According to CDC data, vaccination rates continue to be lower among younger populations. As of July 14, 37.5% of 16 to 17-year-olds and 41.8% of 18 to 24-year-olds were vaccinated, compared to 66% of 55 to 64-year-olds and 80.9% of 65 to 74-year-olds.
“It’s important to have conversations with friends and family members encouraging all communities to get vaccinated and actually get to a vaccination site,” Rodrigo said, referring people to vaccines.gov.
