Here is the latest data on Boston’s coronavirus cases
The city logged 10,761 cases of COVID-19 as of Friday, public health officials say.

The number of coronavirus cases in Boston rose to 10,761 this week, public health officials said Friday.
As of Thursday however, when data for a weekly report from the Boston Public Health Commission was compiled, the city saw 7,230 active cases of COVID-19, and the total number of cases at that point represented a 14 percent increase over the previous week.
So far, 496 city residents have died from virus complications.
As of Thursday, 2,882 people had recovered, representing about 27.2 percent of all cases recorded through that time. On Friday, that number rose to 3,065 people.
