Awesome All-Female Cast of ‘Ghostbusters’ Announced, Some Men Angry

The unbelievably amazing cast for the upcoming Ghostbusters reboot featuring Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Kate McKinnon, and Leslie Jones was announced Tuesday via Twitter by director Paul Feig. Though the Bridesmaids director revealed he would be casting women in the lead roles back in October, it many (mostly male) Twitter users seemed shocked and appalled by the news.

Some seem to see it as an affront to their childhood:

Others feel that putting women in a movie is pushing a feminist agenda:

The film drops July 22, 2016, so mark that in your calendars as the day that many adults’ childhoods will be irreversibly ruined.
