John Cena visited Black Cow restaurant in Newburyport this weekend.
Early Saturday, Black Cow posted a picture to Facebook of the “Peacemaker” actor and professional wrestling superstar posing in front of a wine rack wearing shorts and Birkenstock sandals.
The restaurant wrote, “We love a visit from our favorite star.”
Cena’s last visit to Black Cow was in May 2023 and that time, he was dressed to the nines.
The West Newbury native is set to retire from wrestling after the 2025 WWE tour concludes in December.
His farewell tour will make a stop in Boston on Nov. 10. Tickets to the WWE Monday Night RAW show at TD Garden range in price from $200 to over $2,000.
After his final show in Boston, Cena hopes to dine in at another one of his favorite North Shore restaurants: the Kowloon in Saugus, he announced on X.
He wrote, “Any fans hitting the Kowloon Saugus after the show?! Might C U there!!”
In 2023, Cena donated an autographed pair of Kowloon sneakers back to the restaurant after wearing them at Wrestlemania. Over the years, he has worn other Kowloon merchandise pieces to matches, including a sweatshirt at Monday Night RAW in Springfield on Sept. 22.
As the Farewell Tour makes its final stops I cannot express how lucky and grateful I am to be invited one last time to @TheGarden and the @tdgarden in Boston! Any Boston fans hitting the @KowloonSaugus after the show?!
