L.L. Bean is recalling toddler sweater fleece pullovers sold nationwide because the front snaps can detach and pose a potential choking hazard, the Maine-based company announced Thursday.
The recall affects about 2,000 pullovers that were sold at L.L. Bean stores, through the catalog, and online from April 1, 2017, through August 4, 2017, according to the Consumer Product Safety Commission. L.L. Bean said Thursday no injuries have been reported. Of the 2,000 units affected, 400 were sold with the rest in the warehouse.
The pullovers came in sizes 2T, 3T and 4T, and in three colors.
Customers who bought the pullovers with a manufacture date of “02/17,” as printed on the tag attached to the neckline, are advised to return the product for a full refund by calling 800-555-9717 or clicking “Recall & Safety Info” at the bottom of the company’s website.
