Nashua to be home to New Hampshire’s largest liquor store
NASHUA, N.H. (AP) — The 33,000-square-foot liquor and wine outlet scheduled to open in Nashua in August will be the largest in the state and the biggest in northern New England.
The Nashua Telegraph reports the state Liquor Commission says it’s renovating the former NAMCO pool store and expects to the complete the work to have the outlet open this summer. It will replace an existing outlet about a half-mile away.
Officials say the store will have 5,400 varieties and wines and spirits and is expected to generate $21.5 million in sales every year. It will feature high-end wine, temperature-controlled wine vaults and an interactive learning center that will allow it to host seminars, tasting events and training.
